Dates Powder is made from sun-dried whole dates that are stone-ground into a fine, free-flowing powder, retaining the natural sweetness and fibre of the fruit.

How It's Made
Whole dates are cleaned, pitted, sun-dried, and then stone-ground into powder. No heat treatment, no added sugar, no preservatives, and no artificial colours or flavours.
Nutrition
Dates powder contains naturally occurring sugars (glucose and fructose), dietary fibre, iron, potassium, magnesium, and B vitamins. It has a lower glycaemic index (~42) compared to refined white sugar.
Culinary Uses
- Stir into warm milk or plant-based milk as a natural sweetener
- Mix into porridges, smoothies, and milkshakes
- Use in ladoo, halwa, energy balls, and traditional Indian sweets
- Suitable as a sugar substitute in baking (1:1 ratio by weight)
- Commonly used in weaning foods and toddler recipes
Cooking Instructions
For sweetened milk: Add 1–2 teaspoons (5–10 g) of dates powder to 200 mL of warm milk. Stir well and serve. Adjust quantity to taste. Do not boil after adding powder to preserve natural enzymes.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Seal tightly after each use. Best consumed within 6 months of opening. Do not refrigerate — condensation causes clumping.
